GROW WITH FBC

NEXT STEPS

"Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." - 2 Peter 3:18

Would you like to explore and experience all that God has for you? Next Steps is a 3-hour class designed to equip you: to follow Jesus, connect to the church, discover your purpose, and shine your light. Whether you’re new to church or a long-time attender ready to take next steps, Next Steps is designed for you!

BAPTISMS

Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! - 2 Corinthians 5:17

Have you committed to following Jesus for the rest of your life?
Are you ready to take the next step in your faith?
Then you’re ready for baptism!

We believe a baptism is a celebration event! Because we’ve gone from death to life, we’re celebrating NEW LIFE in Christ when we get baptized.

COMMUNITY GROUPS

Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing. - 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Imagine a place where lasting friendships form and you’re encouraged every week. Our Community Groups are clusters of people just like you, who gather in homes throughout the week to connect, laugh, and learn about God’s Word and how it applies to our lives.  Bible knowledge is not required.

If you have questions, contact Pastor Derek at .

Sunday Bible Classes

We have several on-going Sunday Adult Bible Studies (email and ask for scheudle).  This is a great way to connect with others and be encouraged by an in-depth Bible study!

We were made for community! We believe that we grow deeper and better in community with others who help encourage us and sharpen our faith in Christ. People retain more of what they experience and discuss. So groups are a great way to truly grow in our Biblical knowledge and understanding.

Many of our core values as a church are reflected in community groups. And it’s in an environment like this that we develop strong and lasting friendships, support each other in times of trials, and learn from one another.

Typically, it starts with a brief social time. The centerpiece of the gathering revolves around discussing the Bible and how it applies to our lives. The Bible is the authority. Discussion is open and conversational (like a group of really good friends). A time of prayer usually concludes along with some snacks or dessert. There is no pressure to speak or to pray out loud, if you prefer not to.

Not at all. You can be at ANY place in your spiritual journey, whether you’ve ever picked up a Bible or not. You can participate as much, or as little, as you feel comfortable. It’s a great environment to learn more about the Bible!

Some home groups do have options for kids. We also have groups meeting on Sundays and Wednesdays on our campus with children’s programs available. Please call or email us at ; we want to help you get connected.

We offer recommended studies, but each group can choose their own study. Some groups use study guides and videos by popular Christian pastors, while others may simply open up the Bible and go through it together. The exception would be in the fall when our whole church joins together to have an amazing Bible Study experience we call our ALL-IN Church Wide Series.
